Welcome.

I’ve spent 20 years exploring what makes people and institutions thrive, and I’ve learned that real impact happens when people and purpose are in sync. Whether we’re navigating a personal transition or building a $10M movement, the goal is the same: Authentic Alignment.

AUTHENTIC ALIGNMENT: the state where your internal truth (your nervous system, your values, your narrative) is in direct, functional symmetry with your external impact (your leadership, your relationships, your mission).

It is the moment the "inside" matches the "outside." It is the proof that you don’t have to compromise your humanity to achieve your high-stakes goals.

Hi, I’m Ashley Starr Faison, LCSW

Mostly, I’m a human being—learning, living, + becoming alongside you.

I believe in trust, earning credibility, and standing for something bigger than oneself. I’ve spent over 20 years building people and brands from the ground up, and I’ve seen firsthand that whether you are a teenager navigating the "middle school jump" or a Board of Directors navigating a $10M capital campaign, the fundamental truth remains the same:

Institutions are made of humans, and humans respond to meaning, leadership, and the narrative.

I’ve been on a journey to find purpose in a world where it often feels like we’re making it up as we go. I care deeply about nonprofits as vehicles for change, but I also know that change happens only when the people within those organizations feel safe, seen, and aligned.

The Multi-Hyphenate Reality
I don’t believe in boxes. My work is about helping people and organizations find their rhythm and build a solid foundation for sustainable change. I bring clinical rigor, executive strategy, and an artist’s eye to everything I do—because that is what Authentic Alignment looks like for me.

What would it look like for you or your organization?

The human experience is not a performance, yet so many of us spend our lives trying to hit the right notes for an audience that isn’t even there. I provide a space where the "mask" is optional. My work is for the high-performers, the transition-seekers, and the deep-thinkers who are ready to stop managing their symptoms and start honoring their systems.

Emotional Literacy Workshops

We have coaches for sports, teachers for school, and instructors for driver’s ed—but who teaches us how our own internal systems work? A proactive space for youth to test, question and build life skills. This is where we learn the language, the brain chemistry, and the logic of who we are.

The Workshop Series:

  • FEELINGS (5th–6th Grade): Moving past "I’m fine" or "I’m mad" using Vivid Vocab and the Inventory Deck.

  • BRAIN CHEMISTRY (7th–8th Grade): Exploring thoughts, emotions, and cognitions under the microscope to understand our biological "why."

  • AGENCY (9th–10th Grade): Mastering executive functioning and emotional regulation to navigate high school and the "New Work World" with confidence.
